Weight Training - 2016 9th Grade Team

Football weight training for this years 8th graders (next years 9th grade team) will begin on January 13th from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on scheduled days. Most weeks those days will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

8th grade parents are encourage to begin organizing car pools.

All the HS programs in our county have lifting dates for 8th graders. We are moving into a very competitive region and weight training is a process that develops over longer consistent periods of time. To be a Spartan carries great responsibility. Now is the time to begin.

Sign Up and Be a Team Spartan Volunteer, Today, and Sign Up Here:  http://www.southpauldingfootball.com/volunteers.html

Most, if Not, All of Us, Like to Have a Winning Team, Season, and possibly Head to the Playoffs.

Many of Us, Expect Our Players to Do Their Individual Best, and Work Together, as a TEAM.

Let's Set the Example, to Step Up, Do Our Best, and Work Together, as a Team, In Support of the Spartans.

Do you want your players to have the best looking field, the best grounds, and the best equipment?

However, we need you all to assist in giving these players the best. The few that volunteer can't do it all by themselves. We need the help from everyone.

If you want your child to have the best then we need your help in giving them the best.

Two opportunities:

1- need of 8-10 dads with construction knowledge and personal tools to assist with putting a plywood ceiling in the pavilion. The required plywood has been donated but we're in need of assistance in hanging the plywood, the knowledge and muscle to hang it.

The touchdown club will furnish the necessary fasteners to get the job done.  Please go to the website to register your name if you're able to help. Your registration is crucial in making sure that we have the appropriate personnel to make this happen.  Also please let me know if you can supply your own tooling. We would like to get this done over the weekend if possible. Please let us know if you're able to assist. This will be ongoing starting today and all weekend long.

2- Still need 3 people to assist with striping the practice field tonight around 5:30 pm. This field will have a game being played on this Saturday. Let's get this field looking good so we can represent our Spartans.

Spartan Volunteers -- It Takes a Village!!

Spartan Nation cannot work with a few warriors. The whole village is needed to become SPARTAN STRONG.

We may not be the warriors on the field fighting for every yard, however we are the Warriors that support that fight. This cannot be done with a few individuals, we must have the whole village support.

We just need you to support the Spartans more than just the stands. There is a lot of behind the scenes work that is needed. We only ask for a few hours for the four remaining Thursday home games and the three Varsity home games.

Concessions: Thursday’s we need 3 or 4 people to help with the concessions for either the Freshman or JV home games. That is the only night we are asking. No more Varsity or Saturday concessions. We have that covered. Only Thursday’s, that’s it. From 5:30 to 7:30. Two hours out of the week.

Chain Crew; Thursday’s during the Freshman or JV Home games and Friday during the Varsity home games, we need 4 volunteers to run the chain crew. It is the best seat in the house and you get to see the action up close and personal. You have the best view of your player on the field. Literally you can’t get any closer to the action unless you suit up yourself.

Here are the dates where you can be proactive and sign up ahead of time:

Thursday Night Games for Concession and Chain Crew
9/17 Freshman vs Allatoona
10/1 Freshman vs Hiram
10/8 JV vs North Paulding
10/15 JV vs Paulding

Friday Night Chain Crew (do you know if the 4 men we already have are for the whole season)
10/9 vs Paulding County
10/23 vs Lithia Springs

11/6 vs Hiram

Volunteers Need for 9th & JV Games

Spartan Nation,

Freshman/JV parents, your time is here!

As all of you know the freshman/JV season kicks off tomorrow afternoon at 5 PM. Both teams will be playing at South Paulding high school.  With every game at South Paulding high school there requires a certain amount of volunteers outside of your normal school administration to pull these events off.

I am currently in need of volunteers to man our chain crew for both the freshman and JV teams. Dads if you ever wanted a front row seat to a game here's your opportunity.

Chain crew guys have the best seat in the house, you can't get any closer to the action unless you suit up to play yourself. Help me out dad's! Here's an opportunity for you to give back to the program.

If you are able to volunteer please go to http://www.southpauldingfootball.com/volunteers.html to sign up for that night and to get your name on the list.

Please specify which game you can volunteer for so that I can get you added to the pass list. Please act quickly as kickoff is tomorrow night.

As much as I need on the field support I need behind-the-scenes support as well.

This is a shout out to all that are still looking for opportunities to volunteer.  We will open our visitor side concession stand on Thursday night but I need sales support. I am currently looking for 3 to 4 people to work one or the  other of each of our Thursday night games.

Varsity parents this is a prime opportunity for you to be able to give back to our program without having to miss your kids games.

Again if you are able to volunteer to work in the concession stand for one or both of our games on Thursday night please go to http://www.southpauldingfootball.com/volunteers.html to sign up for that night and to get your name on the list to register.

Please specify which game you can volunteer for so that I can get you added to the pass list. Act quickly as kick off is tomorrow night.

NO PARKING AREAS - PARKING CITATIONS WILL BE ISSUED

PARKING CITATIONS WILL BE ISSUED
Parents, Players, Fans, Supporters, and all who drive and park.
We have sent out many many messages regarding parking, and parking in parking spaces and not parking on the grass and not parking in the drive way.
The last few nights several 4 wheel drive vehicles have found it convenient to park on the nice grass between the parking lot and the school building. As a result the grass is damaged tire tread marked etc.
DO NOT PARK ANYWHERE EXCEPT IN DESIGNATED MARKED, PAINTED PARKING SPACES. It is insulting to have to issue continued warnings to park legally.
PARKING CITATIONS WILL BE ISSUED FROM THIS NIGHT FORWARD.
We have a beautiful athletic complex. We are super glad to see so many people; children especially, involved in positive activity.
We are in the process of building something special in our community. Stay the course do your part. Be respectful of others, and property. We must all do as the motto says "Together We Shield" Do your part.
