Students - Golf Tournament

Our Touchdown Club golf tournament is quickly approaching!!  We thought about it and would love for our students to come play but we know $100 is a lot of money for a teenager!!  So we are offering a discounted rate for students that want to play, $50!!!.  Students can register the day of the tournament (checks or cash preferred).  We still need sponsors and adult golfers so parents get out there and talk to your golfing friends and get them registered!!

The SPHS Touchdown Club golf tournament on June 9, 2015 is quickly approaching and we need you to get involved!! 

• Do you have to play golf to get involved?  No, you don't have to know how to play.  
• Do you know people that play golf?  Ask them to support the football team by registering to play!
• Are you a business owner?  Register to be a hole sponsor for the golf tournament!  
• Do you know someone that owns a business?  Ask them to support the football team by registering to be a hole sponsor!
• Do you go out to eat?  Ask the restaurant manager for a gift card or some type of donation as a raffle prize for the golfers.  
• Do you go shopping?  Ask store owners/managers for a gift card or a small gift item. 
• Do you get your car washed?  Ask the car wash manager for some gift certificates for a car wash.  
• Do you know a real estate agent?  Ask her/him if they donate water bottles with their real estate contact info on it

 Our needs for the tournament: 

• Golfers - we would like to host 80-100 golfers
• Sponsors - we need 18 hole sponsors
• Raffle Prizes - gift cards/gift certificates for restaurants, stores, car washes, photography sessions, monogramming 
• Goodie bag items - bottles of water, crackers, chapstick, sunscreen, small bags
• Golfer prizes - golf balls, golf clubs, golf umbrellas, golf hats

Exciting highlights for our tournament:

We are excited to have a former NFL player joining us on the golf course for this year's tournament! 

We will also be starting a raffle for a 3 day guided Hog or Deer hunting trip to South Georgia!  The lucky winner will be treated to an inclusive trip that includes 3 days of guided hunting on 1,000 acres of private property, ATVs transportation, all meals, and lodging.

Stadium seats

As of right now, the deadline to reserve last years seats has passed. However we received several emails or texts before last nights deadline confirming that you still wanted your seats, and we will honor those.

We will reopen seat purchases this week. We will be in the pavilion Wednesday, Thursday during practice and also during the Friday scrimmage. We appreciate your patience as we go through this process.

Raffle Tickets

Raffle Ticket money due Monday after practice.
$30 each; 2 for $50

Those not selling tickets will work to set up and clean up for the reverse raffle Saturday May 16th. 

Due to the fact food is associated with the raffle, those tickets not accounted for on time (Monday at 6:00 pm) will be counted as sold and the holder of the tickets will need to buy them.

Week of May 11th / Practice and Spring Game

Practice times Monday through Thursday 4:00pm to 6:00pm

Friday Spring Game
Adults $5 
Elementary Kids $3                  
6-7-8 graders at 6:00 
High school at 7:00

Players will report at usual time after school. They will not be allowed to go home until after the scrimmage.
