The South Paulding Touchdown Club and a Small Group of Volunteers, have Been Working Really Hard, Behind the Scenes for the Benefit of the Spartan Football Program, Team, and Coaches.

These Individuals Have Graciously Volunteered Their Time, and Efforts to the Football Program at South Paulding, in an Unselfish Manner, and are Very Much Dedicated.

There is Much to Be Done, for the 2015 Season.

SAT / ACT

Parents of Juniors and most certainly Seniors take note

SAT tests for the Oct 3rd test must be registered by Sept 3rd
for the Nov 7 test must be registered by Oct 9th (if you hope to be recruited these are a must)

ACT test dates for the Sept 12th test must be registered through late registration by Aug 8th through 21st
for the Oct 24th test must be registered by Sept 18th (if you hope to be recruited take one of these tests)

Volunteers Needed!!

SPARTAN NATION,

What a weekend!  The 2015 Back to School Bash was a success.  I want to thank all of you that came out and I especially want to thank all of those that volunteered their time and efforts to help make it a successful event.  

Did you miss your chance to volunteer?  No worries, “The Touchdown Club Needs You”.  Please see the list of volunteers that are needed this week to help us get prepared for Friday night along with the upcoming season.  

SPECIAL PROJECTS:         

Looking for 4-5 electricians and or construction guys/gals to help wire the pavilion, install lights, and run electrical power not only to the pavilion but to the scoreboard, on the practice field, as well.  Physical labor required, ladder work, trench work and general electrical knowledge preferred.  Must be able to take directions from general contractor that is permitting the electrical work. 

SPECIAL PROJECTS:
Looking for 5 individuals to handle the chain crew responsibilities during our Friday night games.  I will need 4 individuals for the actual chain crew and I will need 1 individual to man the scoreboard.  The scorer is solely responsible for scoring the game along with downs, quarters and possession arrows.  The officiating crew is responsible for keeping the clock. 

Concession:
Looking for a rotation of  individuals to help operate the “Visitor Side” concession on Thursday nights throughout the season.  The visitor side concession will only be in operation during the Thursday night games and will only provide drinks, chips, candy and hot dogs.  Please note that the Thursday night games will either be freshmen and or JV.  Must be customer service oriented, must be able to multi task, must be responsible, must be able to manage business transactions and money exchange during peak hours.  

SPIRIT WEAR:
Looking for a rotation of  individuals to help operate the spirit wear trailer on Thursday and Friday nights throughout the season.  Must be customer service oriented, must be able to multi task, must be responsible, must be able to manage business transactions and money exchange during peak hours.

WEDNESDAY Aug 12  All High School team practice 4 to 630  
11th graders will be at Ring ceremony on time
NO Jr's and Youth Practice

THURSDAY Aug 13  All 10th,11th,12th practice on the field at 7am until 8am
9th grade practice 4 to 6
Jr's and Youth 630 o 830pm

FRIDAY Aug 14th Varsity scrimmage 7 pm. Players DO NOT  leave campus report for pre-game at 340 in commons
9th grade practice 345 to 515  9th must stay and WATCH scrimmage.

SATURDAY Aug 15th All High School Players report for Discount Card Blitz 10am return at 3pm (with all cards sold)

Those who have not received cards pick them MONDAY from Coach Koester.

BEAT THE HEAT SPARTAN NATION!!!

SPARTAN NATION,

“To Help Beat the Heat” we will be opening the visitor sides concession starting Tuesday, August 4th, during practice.  This year’s concession will only be offering drinks, candy, chips, popsicles and maybe hot dogs based on demand.  Please make sure to stop by and visit our concession stand this week.  

In addition to the concession stand we will also be offering Spirit Wear on Thursday, August 6th and  Thursday, August 13th to help make sure that you will be in style for the season. 

On these same dates we will also be offering you the opportunity to purchase/pick up your season parking pass, available stadium seating while seats remain and your stadium seat lanyards if you have already taken advantage of the stadium seating offer.  

Please make sure to save the dates so that you are prepared for our August 14th game against Hillgrove.

Wednesday: HS practice 4:10 to 6:40 
Jr's 6:45 to 8:30 pm
Youth 6:45 to 8:30 pm

Thursday: HS practice 4:10 to 6:40 film by position if needed
Jr's 6:45 to 8:30 pm
Youth 6:45 to 8:30 pm

Friday: HS practice 4:00 to 6:00 no film

Saturday: Back to school Bash
All levels should participate
HS players will have assignments

In the event Varsity Practice start time is pushed back for any reason, the stadium field will not be available until practice is completed.
